Dec. 3 update: Zion sidelined for extended stretch
Zion Williamson fell out of the top 100 in both points and categories rankings this week in light of the news that he will miss extended time with a right adductor injury. He is to be re-evaluated in three weeks, but that doesn't necessarily mean he will return at that time. Williamson has unfortunately missed extended periods in five of his seven seasons in the league; that has to be accounted for in his projections. Williamson's numbers were down this season anyway, but combined with the added injury concern and extended absence it was enough to cause him to plummet in this week's rankings.
