Spin: Beers has appeared in just two of Connecticut's first three games of the regular season, as she didn't see any playing time during Sunday's narrow loss to the Storm. She was held to one point and two rebounds in 11 minutes during Friday's season-opening loss to the Liberty, but she was more efficient during Wednesday's matchup. Beers will likely continue to have an inconsistent role in the Sun's rotation, and her usage could decrease even more once Aaliyah Edwards (thigh) and Brittney Griner (foot) are back in action, especially since Nell Angloma (overseas commitment) was activated by Connecticut on Thursday.
