News: 6 hours agoEdwards (thigh) finished with six points (3-5 FG), three rebounds and one steal across 17 minutes in Friday's 101-94 loss to the Aces.
Spin: Edwards didn't suit up for Connecticut's first three games of the 2026 campaign because of a thigh injury. As a result, she was on a minutes restriction Friday night. The 23-year-old, who was dealt to Connecticut ahead of the trade deadline last season, averaged 5.4 points, 3.7 rebounds, 0.6 assists, 0.6 steals and 0.4 blocks over 14.8 minutes in 36 games combined for the Mystics and Sun in 2025. While her start to the 2026 campaign hasn't been ideal, she could receive more opportunities to produce (and start) moving ahead.
