GM Berry doesn't rule out trading first-round picks
Thursday, April 16: Amid speculation that the Browns could trade out of the No. 6 pick, GM Andrew Berry said that his focus remains on "maximizing the asset," whether that be through selecting a player or making a trade. ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper's latest mock draft projects Cleveland to trade the sixth and 39th picks to the Dallas Cowboys for the 12th and 20th picks.
"We will continue to work through all those possibilities up until, really, we get on the clock on Thursday night," Berry said. "But I'd say ... we're working through a number of different scenarios at this point."

Georgia OT Freeling on Browns' radar
Wednesday, April 15: The Browns are among multiple teams that have "spent extended time" with former Georgia offensive tackle Monroe Freeling through the predraft process, according to NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.
Freeling is the No. 2 offensive tackle and 13th prospect on ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr.'s Big Board. Cleveland could target Freeling, a one-year full-time starter at left tackle, with one of its two first-round picks (Nos. 6, 24).
OT Proctor was in Cleveland
Friday, April 10: The Browns on Thursday hosted former Alabama offensive tackle Kadyn Proctor on a predraft visit, a source confirmed to ESPN. Proctor is the No. 3 tackle prospect on ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr.'s Big Board and a likely first-round pick.
ESPN draft analyst Jordan Reid recently noted that sources have indicated Proctor is a prospect whom Cleveland "really likes at No. 6."
Browns host OT Caleb Lomu for a visit
Thursday, April 9: The Browns are hosting former Utah offensive tackle Caleb Lomu on a predraft visit. Lomu is the No. 6 offensive tackle prospect on ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr.'s Big Board and a possible first-round pick. He has started the past two seasons for the Utes at left tackle, where Cleveland still has a hole on its offensive line.
An AFC area scout told ESPN that Lomu is projected as an early first-round pick. "Lomu is young and can get stronger," the scout said.
TE Kenyon Sadiq visits with Cleveland
Thursday, April 9: The Browns hosted former Oregon tight end Kenyon Sadiq on a predraft visit Wednesday, according to NFL Network. Sadiq is the No. 1 tight end prospect on ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr.'s Big Board and a likely first-round prospect.
Cleveland, which had the NFL's least productive wide receiver room in 2025, has been connected to several wideout prospects. However, the Browns have expressed confidence in players such as Jerry Jeudy and Isaiah Bond.
New coach Todd Monken has also had success with two tight end groupings and general manager Andrew Berry said the team thinks of pass catchers "globally," which could put Sadiq in play in the first round.
Browns bring in Concepcion for a visit
Wednesday, April 8: The Browns are hosting former Texas A&M wide receiver KC Concepcion on a predraft visit, according to NFL Network.
Concepcion, a possible option for Cleveland with the No. 24 overall pick, is the latest wideout to visit Cleveland, along with Arizona State's Jordyn Tyson, Ohio State's Carnell Tate, USC's Makai Lemon, Indiana's Omar Cooper Jr., Louisville's Chris Bell and Alabama's Germie Bernard. Concepcion is the No. 6 wide receiver prospect on ESPN draft analyst Mel Kiper Jr.'s Big Board.
