Prized Alabama wide receiver transfer Noah Rogers is on track to make his debut vs. South Carolina on Saturday.
Crimson Tide coach Kalen DeBoer told reporters Monday that Rogers will be available for the game.
Rogers, who previously played at NC State, was in position to start before he injured his knee going up for a touchdown catch during the spring game in April. DeBoer said in the summer that Rogers was ahead of his original recovery timeline.
Rogers had 33 receptions for 441 yards and two touchdowns with the Wolfpack last season.
The 6-foot-2 North Carolina native began his career at Ohio State.
Reserve running back AK Dear will also be available after suffering a lower body injury during preseason camp.
DeBoer also announced that freshman offensive lineman Chris Booker is not with the team. No reason was given. Booker has not played in any of Alabama's first three games.
