MIAMI GARDENS, Fla. -- Miami quarterback Brad Kaaya left Saturday's 58-0 loss to No. 6 Clemson after taking a hit to the head on a sack in the second quarter.
Kaaya was hit hard by Shaq Lawson and taken into the locker room for evaluation.
Coach Al Golden had no update after the game on Kaaya or wide receiver Rashawn Scott, who left the game in the fourth quarter with an apparent shoulder injury.
"It's too early to evaluate where they're at for next week," Golden said.
Of all their players, Kaaya is the one the Hurricanes could least afford to lose. The ACC's leading passer has been one of the best quarterbacks in the league this season.
Before he got hurt, Kaaya had 51 yards passing and an interception.
