Cowboys to see John Parry as ref in finale

FRISCO, Texas -- The Dallas Cowboys will close the regular season with John Parry as the referee Sunday against the Philadelphia Eagles.

It’s the second time in three seasons they have closed the year with Parry, losing to the Washington Redskins at AT&T Stadium in the 2015 finale.

Since 2010, the Cowboys are 3-4 with Parry as the referee and have been flagged 49 times for 354 yards. Their opponents have been penalized 40 times for 344 yards, including a 12-penalty, 136-yard game against the Baltimore Ravens last season.

Parry worked the New York Giants-Arizona Cardinals game in Week 16 with 19 penalties, including 16 that were accepted. New York was flagged 10 times for 101 yards, while the Cardinals had six penalties for 45 yards.
