Spin: Thomas had a tough time shooting, even at the free-throw line, but she had pinpoint passing, recording a team-high eight assists. In fact, no other Mercury player had more than three assists. Thomas shot 53.8 percent (14-26 FG) from the field in the first two games, so don't expect a prolonged shooting slump for the veteran playmaker.
