Former England international Andros Townsend has remarkably escaped injury after being run over by a pitch roller in the Thai Pro League.
Townsend, who now plays for Thai side PT Prachuap, was warming up when the roller clashed into him and rolled over his leg as he attempted to flick a ball.
His teammates were seen reacting with concern but Townsend has since responded to the incident, reposting a video on his social media that read "Just another day in Thai Football [he was fine!]."
Townsend's side PT Prachuap went on to win the game against Pattani 3-0 with Townsend himself featuring off the bench late on.
Townsend has also played for Thai side Kanchanaburi Power since he left Europe after a spell at Turkish team Antalyaspor. He was last in English football with Luton Town in the 2023-24 campaign.
Townsend added on his Instagram story: "It turns out Stoke away wasn't so bad after all. Swipe to see why."
Another post described Townsend as 'The King of Memes in Thai League history' and he replied "trust me" with four laughing emojis.
