Chelsea's Xabi Alonso joined an unenvied group of managers on Friday night as his side continued their poor defensive start to the Premier League campaign with a 3-0 defeat at Brentford.
Jaiden Anthony got his first goal for the hosts to open the scoring at the Gtech Community Stadium before two late blows from Igor Thiago and Fábio Carvalho put the gloss on the Brentford performance.
It was another difficult defensive evening for Chelsea who, before the weekend's action, saw themselves become the side who have conceded the most goals in the league so far this season (12).
And Brentford's three strikes saw Alonso join Mick McCarthy, Sammy Lee, Terry Connor, Slavisa Jokanovic, and Scott Parker as the only six managers to concede two or more goals in each of their first five games as a Premier League manager.
To make matters worse for Chelsea, Anthony's opener on Friday night was their sixth goal conceded via a set-piece this season, another league high.
"I would say that we have dropped our consistency, our competitive mentality needed in the second half," Alonso said after the defeat.

"The small details can be decisive. You don't have to give advantage in these kind of games, where with a little, they [Brentford] get a lot.
"It's about 95 minutes and we have not been able to keep that level throughout these few games at the start of the season. It's something we have to do better.
"We knew that it's a process. It's still five games, in a competitive Premier League. We knew each game is going to be hard. It's nothing new."
There was a slightly more positive record broken for Chelsea though, with Mahdi Nicoll-Jazuli becoming the the first 16-year-old to play for the club in the Premier League, coming on as a substitute in the 86th minute of the contest.
He is also the first player born in 2010 to play in the top-flight.
