City's UWCL hopes rest squarely on the shoulders of Khadija 'Bunny' Shaw.
The Jamaican forward's 21 goals in 22 matches fired City to the WSL title last year and saw her win her third-successive Golden Boot. If that weren't enough, she scored twice in the FA Cup final to help City overturn a 2-0 deficit against Chelsea.
Shaw came close to leaving City in the summer before going on to sign a new four-year deal in a dramatic turnaround. City's success in the UWCL has been limited but, with Shaw in their ranks, the sky is the limit.
