Liverpool forward Lewis Koumas has said he "wants to give everything" for the club after impressing in the Reds' 3-1 win over Tottenham Hotspur.
Koumas was named Player of the Match for his all-action display on Tuesday night, with his relentlessness helping Andoni Iraola's side through to the fourth round of the Carabao Cup.
It marks a continuation of a momentous few weeks for the forward, who has also recently made his Premier League and UEFA Champions League debuts.
"A lot of it is about what I do off the ball," Koumas said. "The gaffer has shown trust to me that I can carry out his plans in terms of how we want to play tactically. I was happy to do that for him.
"It gives me so much motivation the fact he's putting me in for a game like this. I want to kick on now.
"I think how I play is ultimately the Liverpool way. We've always been a club where players have to give absolutely everything on the pitch. We're bringing that back now and the crowd are loving it."
Koumas -- whose father, Jason, was also a professional footballer --- joined Liverpool's academy at the age of 11 and has spent time on loan at Stoke City, Birmingham City and Hull City over the past two seasons.
The Wales international was linked with another move away from Anfield this summer, however head coach Iraola revealed last week that he informed the hierarchy he would like to keep the player at the club this term.
"The past two years have been massive for my development," Koumas said. "Going out on loan helped me to become the player I am today. I was able to impress the new manager in pre-season and it's all worked out well."

Asked whether he could have imagined he would enjoy such an impressive start to the season, Koumas said: "No, I would have woken up! I would have thought I was dreaming. It's crazy. But I'm just really happy and very grateful for the opportunities I've been given.
"You never know when your last time on the pitch for Liverpool is going to be. I just try to leave everything out there every time.
He added: "My hunger comes from representing Liverpool Football Club. Wanting to give everything for the best club in the world."
