Arsenal have reached a pre-contract agreement to sign 17-year-old forward Andria Bartishvili.

The Georgian under-21 international will complete the move to the Gunners in July 2027, by which time he will be 18.

Bartishvili, who plays as a winger or attacking midfielder, has scored two goals and provided two assists in the Erovnuli Liga -- the Georgian top flight -- for Iberia 1999 since moving on loan from second division side Kolkheti 1913 in January.

That followed a season in which he was named the Erovnuli Liga's best under-17 player despite Kolkheti's relegation.

Bartishvili was capped at the U16, U17 and U18 levels, and has now made two appearances for Georgia's under-21s.

The 17-year-old is a product of the Dinamo Tbilisi academy, the same club which gave compatriot Khvicha Kvaratskhelia his professional debut.

An Arsenal statement read: "Everyone at Arsenal looks forward to Andria's arrival next summer and wishes him luck for the rest of this season at Iberia 1999."
