Cesena cruise past Catania in Coppa Italia third round
Cesena cruised to a 4-1 win at fellow Serie B side Catania on Thursday to complete the third round of the Coppa Italia.
A Loris Bacchetti own goal gave the visitors the lead on 23 minutes, but Juan Ramos was able to equalise just before half-time.
The second half, though, belonged to Cesena as Marco Djuric gave them the lead in the 61st minute and soon after Camillo Ciano scored twice in two minutes to complete the rout.
The fourth round will take place in December, with the winners advancing to the round of 16, where the top eight Serie A sides from last season join the competition.
