Zizo is penalised for a late challenge on Trossard and Tielemans goes across to take the resulting free-kick. His in-swinging delivery is met by Mechele, who tries to improvise a hooked finish into the far corner. It's a little too high, though, and that could prove to be Belgium's last chance.

Hany is caught in possession on the right and Belgium break. They aren't able to test Shobeir and eventually Hany gets back into position to stop Vanaken from sending a cross in from the wing.

Egypt are doing well to keep hold of possession here. If either team is to get a winner, they look like the most likely.

Egypt appeal for a penalty as Zizo goes down in a collision with De Cuyper after knocking the ball past the Belgian. The referee is unmoved and there is no stoppage in play for a VAR review either.

An awkward delivery from Rabia catches Courtois out, with the keeper unable to gather it under his bar and instead tipping it behind. Mechele puts in a good block to get in the way of Hany's effort from just inside the box.

WHAT A SAVE! De Bruyne's free-kick is cleared by Shobeir but Belgium send it straight back into the box. Mechele connects with a header on the left side of the box and steers it towards the opposite corner, but the Egypt goalkeeper scampers across to parry it.

Courtois claims a cross from Fathy and immediately releases De Bruyne. He plays a pass out to Doku on the left, who is fouled as he cuts in onto his right foot. Belgium have a free-kick close to the corner of the box now.

Egypt are doing well to hold onto the ball now and frustrate Belgium. Garcia's side are sitting back a bit, clearly happy to wait for Egypt to make a mistake for their next opportunity.

Lukaku gets on the ball at the top of the box and gets a shot away, but he's unable to find a way past the closing defenders.

Fatouh tries to release Abdelkarim with a long ball down the left but he overhits it and it goes straight through to Courtois. It does seem like the hydration break came at a really inconvenient time for Belgium, as the tempo has dropped.
