Como v Man United
Play By Play
Como score four times again at home in the Champions League, as they sweep Manchester United aside 4-1 to heap more pressure on head coach Michael Carrick. Nico Paz played a starring role for the hosts, who outperformed their 2.04 xG, with two goals and an assist as his side made it two wins from two at Stadio Giuseppe Sinigaglia in their maiden Champions League campaign. The Argentine playmaker broke the deadlock after just two minutes with a lovely curling effort into the far corner. He then turned provider with a neat throughball for Douvikas four minutes into the second half. Nico Paz added a third goal in the 57th minute, pouncing on Baleba's error before slotting past Lammens. Ramon added a fourth with a fierce header from close range on 76 minutes, while Zirkzee's header in stoppage time provided United with the merest of consolations. The Red Devils are now without a win in seven matches in all competitions. They'll desperately look to stop the rot when they welcome Bournemouth to Old Trafford on Sunday. The previous day, Como aim to build on their momentum when they host Sassuolo in Serie A. That's all for today. Thanks for joining us, and goodbye!
FULL-TIME: COMO 4-1 MANCHESTER UNITED
United go on the attack, but a loose pass goes aimlessly behind for a goal-kick. The final whistle won't be far away now.
Amad's deserved something for his impact since coming on, and grabs an assist with a well-timed cross for Zirkzee to finish.

UNITED HAVE A CONSOLATION!!! ZIRKZEE MAKES IT 4-1! Though it won't count for much, it's beautifully taken by Zirkzee. He stays onside to bring Amad's cross under control, before drilling it past Butez from close range. It's all just come a bit too late for the Red Devils.
Amad desperately tries to make something happen for United with a surge down the right. However, his attempt at a cross is blocked.

Lacey quickly makes an impression, though not the right kind. A rash challenge sees him immediately go into the referee's notebook.

United make another change as Lacey comes on in place of Mbeumo for the final few minutes.

Kempf trips Amad, who's been a shining light during a dark day for United. The Como defender has his name taken.
Unless they can stop the rot, this will be United's heaviest defeat in the Champions League since their 4-0 humbling by Barcelona in November 1994. Despite the odd flash of positivity, the Red Devils have been outclassed here.

The last change of this window from the hosts sees Couto make way for Smolcic.

Nico Paz is also given a well-earned breather. He's quite rightly given a superb reception as he goes off to be replaced by Ricci.

Como also make changes. Firstly, Dossena's introduced in place of Perrone.

De Ligt's long-awaited return comes to an end. He's replaced by Amass for the final 10 minutes.
Still, Como want more. They quickly feed the ball to Nico Paz, who fizzes an effort towards goal from the edge of the box. Lammens holds and needed to, with a couple of players waiting to pounce on any parries.
Kaiki was the provider with a delicious cross that any striker craves. It didn't matter on this occasion, though, with defender Ramon more than happy to get on the end of it.

4-0!!! WHAT A DAY FOR COMO! After withstanding United's pressure, they strike! It's the centre-half who applies the finishing touch. Following a swift counter, Ramon's the furthest player forward for the hosts. He's left unmarked in the box to attack Kaiki's inviting cross, and bury a header beyond a helpless Lammens. It goes from bad to worse for Carrick!
The Red Devils continue to try and find a route back into this contest. Mbeumo's the latest player to shoot from the edge of the area, but it's well wide of the target.
United have enjoyed 61% of the possession in the last 15 minutes. It's looking like too little, too late at the moment, though, with Como not budging at the back.

There's also activity on the Como bench. Like United, their skipper will make way, as Da Cunha hands over the armband before he's replaced by Kaiki.

An interesting change by Carrick, who withdraws skipper Fernandes for the final quarter of this game. Zirkzee comes on in his place.
GOOD EFFORT BY AMAD! The substitute tries to be positive for the visitors, finding space to line one up from 25 yards. He connects well with his strike, and Butez has to tip it over.

Como make their first change of the day, with Baturina making way to be replaced by Caqueret for the final 25 minutes.
United are enjoying a better spell. Fernandes looks to pull the strings, as he clips the ball into the box. Amad looks to volley towards goal, but doesn't connect and Butez gathers.
Fernandes now tries his luck from distance. It's a horrible effort, though, as it flies aimlessly high and wide of the target. That just about sums up United's day so far.
