Kayode made it three just moments into the second half. It was a similar situation to the second goal, with Kinsky failing to push an effort away from danger, this time allowing Kayode to react first and score. Brentford were gifted the opportunity to make it four, but, after Schade was brought down in the box by Bentancur, Thiago’s penalty hit the foot of the post – perhaps the only blemish on a brilliant afternoon. ANOTHER CHANCE FOR MOORE! Spurs move the ball around nicely in the Brentford half, before Moore manages to break into space inside the box. He takes aim with his right, but his effort is saved well by Kelleher and out for a corner.

Kelleher is thankful for a kind deflection from Tonali’s effort, which kills the power behind the strike and gives the Irishman an easy catch.

The atmosphere has just quietened at the Gtech after the penalty miss. Spurs have been pushing forwards but haven’t troubled the Brentford backline enough.
