The Premier League's leading scorers blow the reigning champions away, as Brighton beat Arsenal 3-0 at the Amex! Halting the Gunners' nine-game streak of league wins, the home side were simply brilliant again, with some superb shooting putting them in complete control by the break. Two strikes from outside the box - expertly finished by captain Gross and then livewire striker Kostoulas - saw the Seagulls seize a deserved lead, and they never looked back. Soon after the interval, all three points were essentially made safe by a Chema Andres header, and Brighton could easily have added a fourth goal later on. Raya made two saves and Yalcouye struck the woodwork, as the hosts cruised towards the finish line. Summing up their tepid display, Havertz wasted Arsenal's best chance at the other end; even though Arteta's men edged the xG - with 1.58 to Brighton's 1.33 - they can't argue that the better team won.
