Everton maintain their unbeaten start to the new season with a hard-fought 1-0 win over Ipswich. Barry's goal in the 11th-minute was enough to secure the three points for the hosts after the ball ricocheted off the Toffees forward from Tarkowski's shot. Ipswich had chances of their own to equalise, but couldn't find a way past Pickford in the Everton goal. Barry also thought he'd bagged a second in the second half, only for VAR to chalk it off for offside a few minutes later. Fatawu had been a bright spark for the visitors, but was sent off in the 67th-minute when he received a second yellow card for simulation. This time it's Garner who feeds Dibling on the right, before the latter looks to fire a right-footed effort towards goal. Davis does well to get a block in, but it's hard to envisage the visitors clawing their way back here.

SAVE BY WALTON!! The Ipswich goalkeeper denies Dibling, who cuts inside onto his left before looking to bend the ball into the far corner. Walton sees it all the way, though, and punches the ball clear to keep the score at 1-0.
