News: 3 days agoWedgewood stopped 37 of 40 shots in a 4-3 loss to the Devils on Tuesday.
Spin: Wedgewood was pulled for an extra attacker around the three-quarter mark of the third before the Devils popped in the eventual winner. His teammates roared back with two quick goals in the last three-plus minutes to make the game seem closer than it actually was. Wedgewood looked sharp, especially given the heavy volume of shots, but he's still clearly the backup to Mackenzie Blackwood right now. Wedgewood remains a decent option when he does slot into the paint -- he has a 1-1-1 record with a 2.65 GAA and sharp .912 save percentage.
