News: 12 hours agoWilliams (ankle) does not carry an injury designation ahead of Sunday's game against the Lions, Wes Hodkiewicz of the Packers' official site reports.

Spin: A knee injury limited Williams' practice participation all week, but he's done enough to avoid an injury tag for Sunday's NFC North showdown. The second-year pro made his 2026 debut against the Cowboys in Week 8, when he caught all four of his targets for 32 yards and added two carries for nine yards in a 23-13 win for the Packers. Williams figures to operate as Green Bay's WR3 behind Christian Watson and Matthew Golden.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Williams is primed for a larger role in his second NFL season. The 2025 third-round pick had a unique rookie campaign, handling more carries (11) than he did targets (10). Williams' gadget role allowed him only 90 snaps (12%) and he was utilized only near the line of scrimmage (1.4 aDOT). The Green Bay WR rotation no longer includes Romeo Doubs or Dontayvion Wicks, but Christian Watson, Jayden Reed and fellow second-year wideout Matthew Golden remain in the mix. Williams will need to beat out one (or perhaps two) of them and start to see more downfield targets in order to land on the fantasy radar. The 24-year-old is only worth late-round consideration in deeper formats, especially since he'll open the season on IR.
