News: 8 hours agoWicks (ankle) didn't take part in Friday's practice.

Spin: With back-to-back DNPs to kick off Week 7 prep due to an ankle issue, Wicks has only one more opportunity to mix into drills Saturday before the Eagles potentially make a ruling on his status for Monday's contest against the Cowboys. Fellow WR DeVonta Smith (hamstring) also hasn't practiced this week, leaving Makai Lemon, Darius Cooper, Hollywood Brown, Elijah Moore and Britain Covey as the healthy options at the position on the active roster.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Wicks was traded to the Eagles after spending his first three NFL seasons in Green Bay. The 2023 fifth-round pick was limited to situational work during his Packers tenure, never finishing a season among the top 50 receivers in snaps, routes, targets, catches or yards. Wicks flashed at times (exactly one game of 24-plus points in each season), but otherwise scored 5.3 PPG. Even after the Eagles traded A.J. Brown, Wicks' path to targets may not be any easier in Philly. DeVonta Smith, Dallas Goedert and Saquon Barkley are all assured substantial roles, with first-round rookie Makai Lemon and Hollywood Brown also very much in the mix. Wicks, 25, will need to win the team's No. 2 receiver gig in order to have any shot at weekly flex consideration. He's barely worth late-round consideration in deep leagues.
