News: 1 day agoWilliams secured seven of nine targets for 96 yards in the Lions' 44-30 win over the Cowboys on Thursday night. He also rushed once for seven yards.

Spin: Despite Amon-Ra St. Brown managing to play through his ankle issue, Williams put together a second straight impressive performance. The speedy fourth-year pro tied with Jahmyr Gibbs for the team lead in receptions and with St. Brown for the same slotting in targets, while setting the pace in receiving yards. Williams has drawn 19 targets over the last two games while recording at least 88 receiving yards in four straight, affording him plenty of momentum heading into a Week 15 road showdown against the Rams on Sunday, Dec. 14.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: The No. 12 overall pick back in 2022, Williams finally broke out last season after barely seeing the field his first two years in the league due to suspensions and injuries. The explosive playmaker was involved as both a rusher and receiver, which helped him to 1,062 scrimmage yards (18th among WRs) and eight TDs in 15 games. A top-7 finisher in YPR, YPT and RAC, Williams finished 25th at the position in fantasy PPG despite sitting outside the top 40 in targets and catches. A boost in volume will be important to Williams' consistency moving forward, but the 24-year-old will continue to benefit from Detroit's high-scoring offense. No lower than third in target priority, Williams is best valued as a fringe WR3 who very well could take another step forward in his second "full" season.
