News: 5 days agoFerguson caught two of three targets for 13 yards during Sunday night's 23-13 loss to the Packers.

Spin: Ferguson matched his season low with two catches, and he has now been held to 23 or fewer yards in five of six contests to open the season. The tight end hasn't found the end zone since Week 3, and through six games, he's caught 17 of 24 targets for 115 yards and three scores. Ferguson reeled in a career-high 82 passes over 17 regular-season contests in 2025, and he has some work to do to return to that form in 2026.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Ferguson has emerged as a reliable target for Dak Prescott in the high-scoring Dallas offense, which has led to solid fantasy production. Ferguson, who has handled a 17% target share each of the past three seasons, is fresh off a career year in which he ranked third among tight ends in receptions, touchdowns and end zone targets (10). His nine top-12 fantasy weeks tied for second, though it's worth noting that his production dropped off substantially with a healthy CeeDee Lamb and George Pickens on the field during the second half of the season (under 12.0 fantasy points in each of his final eight healthy games, 7.3 PPG during the span). The 27-year-old's role as a short-range target (4.7 aDOT last season) limits his yardage upside, but he sees just enough work, including near the goal line, to allow fringe-TE1 production. Don't call him "Joke Farterson" ("Fantasy Football Now" viewers get it); Ferguson is vying for his third top-10 fantasy campaign in his past four seasons.
