Aidoo's double-double leads Jazz past Bulls; Wilson scores 19 in loss

Jonas Aidoo posted 17 points and 11 rebounds to lead the Utah Jazz to an 80-63 victory over the Chicago Bulls in Monday's NBA summer league action at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas.

The Jazz featured a balanced attack with five players scoring in double figures. Orlando Robinson contributed 14 points and nine rebounds, while Matthew Cleveland added 13 points. Blake Hinson scored 12 points, and Justin Harmon chipped in with 11. Trey Alexander was a defensive force, tallying a game-high six steals before leaving the game with an injury late in the fourth quarter.

For the Bulls, No. 4 draft pick Caleb Wilson delivered an impressive all-around performance in the loss, finishing with 19 points, eight rebounds and a game-high five blocks. After a quiet start, Wilson erupted in the fourth quarter with a scoring burst and providing a highlight-reel dunk in an attempt to lead a comeback. However, he struggled from the foul line, going 0-for-6.

Fellow first-round pick Dailyn Swain, selected 15th, had a difficult shooting night for Chicago, scoring four points on 0-for-9 shooting. But Swain grab nine rebounds. Jaylin Sellers was the only other Bulls player to score in double figures with 13 points.

Utah controlled the game for much of the contest, building its largest lead of 19 points in the fourth quarter. Chicago's offense struggled to find a rhythm, shooting just 28.6% from the field and committing 24 turnovers. The game was paused with 2:23 remaining when Alexander was injured on a drive to the basket and had to be taken off the court on a stretcher.
