Two UFC titles were on the line at Etihad Arena in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, on Saturday, but neither changed hands, as featherweight champion Alexander Volkanovski and men's bantamweight champion Petr Yan successfully defended their belts in the UFC 333 main and co-main events.

Volkanovski held off previously unbeaten challenger Movsar Evloev, dropping him with a clean left in Round 2 and pouncing on the opportunity to secure a second-round TKO in the main event.

In the co-main event, Yan ended his trilogy with Merab Dvalishvili with a comeback win in the rubber match. Yan lost the first two rounds according to all three judges, but stormed back in Round 3 and took each of the final rounds on all three judges' scorecards. This was the 20th trilogy in the promotion's history.

Also on the main card, Lone'er Kavanagh, Alexander Volkov and Aaron Pico landed consequential victories.

Brett Okamoto, Jeff Wagenheim and Dre Waters broke down all the action from UFC 333.
