What you need to know for Tuesday's games
There are 10 games on Tuesday's NBA slate and eight on the DFS slate.
The San Antonio Spurs-Philadelphia 76ers matchup wraps up a lengthy road swing for the Spurs and carries playoff positioning weight for both teams. The Spurs sit 43-17 and remain within striking distance of the No. 1 seed in the Western Conference, while the 76ers, at 33-27, are fighting to avoid slipping into the play-in picture in the Eastern Conference. Both teams are coming off losses and will look to respond Tuesday night in Philadelphia.
Tyrese Maxey remains the focal point for the 76ers, especially with Joel Embiid out due to a oblique injury and Paul George currently serving a suspension. Maxey has averaged 29.1 PPG, fourth in the league, and continues to expand his offensive arsenal as a three-level scorer. His matchup against Stephon Castle could be pivotal, as Castle has quickly established himself as one of the Spurs' top perimeter defenders. Limiting Maxey's efficiency will be San Antonio's primary defensive objective.
For the Spurs, Victor Wembanyama anchors everything on both ends. He's averaging 23.7 PPG, 11.2 RPG and 2.9 BPG, though he's struggled from deep since the All-Star break. With Embiid out, veteran Andre Drummond is expected to draw the assignment, giving Wemby a favorable interior matchup. If San Antonio controls the paint and cleans up the turnovers that plagued them against the New York Knicks, the Spurs should have the edge in a game that could help set the tone heading into their upcoming homestand.
Here are the other fantasy streamers, betting angles and DFS plays of interest on this Tuesday slate.
Tuesday's fantasy stream team
Moussa Diabate, PF/C, Charlotte Hornets (rostered in 34.8% of ESPN leagues)
Diabate has been superb since returning from his four-game suspension, topping 34 fantasy points in three straight contests. He contributes across nearly every statistical category, which is rare for a frontcourt player. The Mavericks have allowed the fourth-most fantasy points per game to centers this season. Diabate is also a strong DFS target at $6,000.
Cason Wallace, SG, Oklahoma City Thunder (27%)
Wallace's fantasy production has fluctuated since February, but since Feb. 1 he's averaged 35.2 fantasy points per game. Although Shai Gilgeous-Alexander recently returned from a abdominal injury, he has been ruled out for Tuesday's game for management. With Jalen Williams still sidelined by a hamstring injury, Wallace should see additional runway for meaningful minutes. He draws a favorable matchup against a Bulls team that has allowed the third-most fantasy points per game to shooting guards this season. Wallace is also a strong value in DFS at $5,600.

Moody's favorite bets for Tuesday
Cason Wallace over 14.5 points (-128)
Wallace should log ample minutes against the Bulls with SGA and Williams both ruled out. He's cleared this line in four of seven games this season when both have been sidelined. Wallace has averaged 14.6 field goal attempts and 32.2 minutes per game over that time frame. The Bulls have allowed the fourth-most points per game to shooting guards over their past 30 contests.
Tyrese Maxey 4+ three-pointers (+124)
The 76ers will lean heavily on Maxey offensively with Embiid sidelined. While the Spurs have been strong defensively with Wembanyama anchoring the paint, that could push Maxey toward increased mid-range and perimeter volume. San Antonio has struggled defending pull-up 3-pointers, an area Maxey is more than capable of exploiting. He's made at least four triples in three of his last five games without Embiid and has averaged 9.6 3-point attempts in those contests.
Tyrese Maxey hits his 886th career 3-pointer, eclipsing Allen Iverson for most in 76ers history.

$8,100+ salaries
Victor Wembanyama, C, San Antonio Spurs ($10,700)
Wembanyama's production can fluctuate with his minutes, but in the last three games he's logged 33 or more, he's topped 49 fantasy points each time. The 76ers have been middle-of-the-pack defensively for much of the season and will be without Embiid on Tuesday. This matchup projects to be more competitive than the spread suggests and carries one of the higher totals on the slate. Wembanyama is worth paying up for given his ability to stockpile stats on both ends of the floor.
Anthony Edwards, SG, Minnesota Timberwolves ($9,500)
Edwards has topped 40 fantasy points in five straight games, including three with 49 or more. He's also carried a 35% usage rate during that stretch. Edwards is matchup-proof, but he faces a Grizzlies team that ranks 28th in defensive rating over the last 15 games.
Paolo Banchero, PF, Orlando Magic ($9,400)
Banchero has topped 40 fantasy points in six straight games, including two outings of 58 or more. With Franz Wagner sidelined by a high ankle sprain, Banchero should continue to command a massive usage rate. The Wizards have been one of the league's worst defensive teams, ranking 28th in defensive rating and allowing the third-most fantasy points per game to power forwards over the last 30 contests.
$6,100-$8,000 salaries
Kon Knueppel, SG, Charlotte Hornets ($7,100)
Knueppel finished with a disappointing 27.5 fantasy points against Portland last Saturday, but the rookie has still averaged 34.5 fantasy points per game this season, giving him a reliable floor. We've also seen what his ceiling can look like in the right matchup. The Mavericks rank 24th in defensive rating over the last 15 games and have allowed the ninth-most fantasy points per game to shooting guards during that span. The Hornets are double-digit favorites against Dallas, but Knueppel should see enough minutes to deliver in DFS.
Jalen Suggs, PG, Orlando Magic ($6,400)
Suggs recently returned from a three-game absence due to a back issue and reentered the starting lineup for the Magic, with his minutes increasing in consecutive games. He posted 26.8 fantasy points in 26 minutes against the Detroit Pistons on Sunday. The Wizards have allowed the eighth-most fantasy points per game to point guards this season, positioning Suggs as a strong value on Tuesday's slate.
Andrew Wiggins, PF, Miami Heat ($6,100)
Wiggins has averaged 35.4 fantasy points over his past nine games while logging 30.4 minutes per contest during that stretch. Miami leads the league in pace and draws a Brooklyn Nets team that ranks 27th in defensive rating this season. This sets up as an excellent spot for Wiggins to produce.
$3,500-$6,000 salaries
Wendell Carter Jr., C, Orlando Magic ($5,400)
Carter has recorded a double-double in four of his past five games and is averaging 28.6 fantasy points in 32.6 minutes during that stretch. The Wizards have allowed the most fantasy points per game to centers over their last 30 contests. Carter is also a reliable streaming option, rostered in 23.4% of ESPN leagues.
Walter Clayton Jr., SG, Memphis Grizzlies ($4,600)
Clayton has averaged 23.6 fantasy points over the last seven games since being acquired by the Grizzlies. Memphis continues to shuffle its starting lineup with Ja Morant sidelined by an elbow injury, and Clayton has benefited thanks to his ability to contribute across multiple statistical categories. Ty Jerome (thigh) is questionable for Tuesday's matchup against the Timberwolves, but regardless of his status, Clayton should continue to play an important role in the rotation. Clayton is also a solid streaming option in deeper formats, given he's rostered in just 2.8% of leagues.
Tristan da Silva, SF/PF, Orlando Magic ($4,400)
Da Silva has helped the Magic fill the void left by Wagner and is averaging 26.8 fantasy points per game over his past five as a starter. He should remain productive against a struggling Wizards team. Washington ranks among the top three in fantasy points allowed per game to small forwards and power forwards over the last 30 contests. Da Silva is also a solid streaming option in deeper formats, as he's rostered in just 2.5% of leagues.
