News: 9 hours agoDelp (hamstring) was a limited participant in practice for the second straight day Thursday.
Spin: The tight end has been dealing with the hamstring issue since August and had to miss the Saints' Week 1 loss to the Lions. Delp had to miss practices last week, though, so he is at least trending in the right direction. The third-round pick in April's draft is still trying to make his regular-season NFL debut.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Delp was selected by the Saints in the third round of April's draft. Delp was busy during his final three seasons at Georgia (1,733 snaps in 42 games), but that didn't lead to much work in the passing game (no more than 24 catches, 284 yards or a 7% target share in a single season). Good speed and hands suggest there's some hope for him as a developmental piece, which is what he'll be in 2026 while playing a situational role behind Juwan Johnson and Noah Fant.
