News: 2 days agoHarris (undisclosed) is not listed on the Week 1 injury report Wednesday.
Spin: Harris dealt with an unspecified injury last month but is fine for Sunday's season opener against the Cardinals. He's expected to fill the WR3 role behind Ladd McConkey and Quentin Johnson this season, but the Chargers also figure to use plenty of TE-heavy sets with Charlie Kolar, Oronde Gadsden and David Njoku.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Harris is a Year 2 breakout candidate after flashing in a limited role as a rookie. The 2025 second-round pick quietly played 49% of the Chargers' offensive snaps, but he spent a lot of that blocking and was limited to an 8% target share. Harris is likely to open the 2026 season behind Ladd McConkey and Quentin Johnston, but with Keenan Allen gone, his competition for No. 3 duties is 2025 fifth-round pick KeAndre Lambert-Smith and rookie Brenen Thompson. A potential starter in new playcaller Mike McDaniel's offense, the 24-year-old Harris is an intriguing late-round sleeper.
