Cole Palmer is set to withdraw from England duty ahead of their four Nations League matches, sources have told ESPN.
There are also doubts over the fitness of Marcus Rashford, Kobbie Mainoo and Tino Livramento. Palmer missed out on the World Cup squad and was set to play a key role in England's matches with Spain, Croatia and their home and away ties with Czechia.
He's started the season in brilliant form for Chelsea but he will have to wait to make his England return as he is set to withdraw with a minor muscular injury.
Morgan Gibbs-White is set to replace Palmer in the squad, sources have told ESPN.
Rashford and Mainoo both featured in Manchester United's 1-1 draw with Fulham on Sunday.
Rashford was substituted in the 77th minute, while Mainoo was withdrawn in the 80th minute. Livramento was selected for the World Cup but has been forced to miss out on the eve of the tournament.
He's made two substitute appearances this season for Newcastle but picked up an injury in training on Friday.
"He [Livramento] suffered some discomfort in the morning after yesterday's training," Newcastle United manager Matthias Jaissle said post-match on Saturday.

"At the moment, we should already have the results from the MRI, but there is nothing more from my end."
Thomas Tuchel is already without several players for the forthcoming batch of matches with Ben White, Dan Burn, Dean Henderson, Reece James, John Stones and Djed Spence all injured.
