News: 13 hours agoSampson (calf) is listed as questionable for Sunday's game versus the Titans, Daniel Oyefusi of ESPN.com reports.

Spin: Sampson exited in the second half of this past Sunday's loss to the 49ers due to a calf injury that left him day-to-day. After not practicing Wednesday and Thursday, he was spotted in drills at Friday's session, which was enough for the Browns to give him a chance to play Week 14. Assuming he's confirmed active ahead of Sunday's 1:00 p.m. ET kickoff, Sampson will join Jerome Ford as the reserve RBs behind starter Quinshon Judkins.

ESPN Fantasy Projection: Sampson was selected by Cleveland in the fourth round of April's draft. He is one of the smallest and youngest RBs (20) in this class. He was an effective collegiate rusher (5.9 YPC), but wasn't used much in the pass game (1.5 targets per game). He's tough and makes plays, but his size could limit his touch ceiling. Sampson's fantasy outlook is less than ideal, as second-round rookie Quinshon Judkins is the team's short- and long-term lead back, with Jerome Ford possibly a factor in 2025 as well. Sampson is barely worth late-round consideration, but is a fine dynasty hold.
