News: 6 hours agoRoush is expected to get more work on offense after Cole Kmet (knee) landed on injured reserve Friday.
Spin: Roush didn't catch a pass against New England on Thursday, marking his third straight game without a reception. However, he's currently the only healthy tight end on the Bears' roster aside from starter Colston Loveland, so Roush figures to be in line for an expanded role moving forward. With that said, Loveland has logged 57 or more receiving yards and six or more catches three of the past four weeks and is clearly the Bears' go-to tight end in the passing game, so Roush's anticipated increase of offensive snaps doesn't necessarily make him a viable option in fantasy.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Roush was selected by the Bears in the third round of April's draft. Roush is a huge, in-line blocking tight end. Though he did catch 40-plus passes each of his final two seasons at Stanford (including a healthy 22% target share in 2025), his overall receiving efficiency was underwhelming (6.6 YPT, 1.22 YPRR) and he totaled four TDs on 182 career targets. He's unlikely to see enough target volume in the pros to find his way to the fantasy radar and that's especially the case in Chicago, as he's buried behind Colston Loveland and Cole Kmet.
