News: 4 hours agoCorum rushed 11 times for 73 yards and a touchdown and failed to bring in his only target in the Rams' 24-9 win over the Chargers on Sunday.
Spin: Corum led the Rams in rushing yards despite logging five fewer carries than Kyren Williams, and, like the latter, Corum was able to get into the end zone. Corum's score came early in the third quarter on a winding 23-yard run, his second in as many games. The third-year back now has double-digit carries in consecutive games for the second time this season, and he's averaging a career-best 5.2 yards per carry heading into a Week 9 road matchup against the Commanders next Sunday.
ESPN Fantasy Projection: Corum has spent his first two NFL seasons as Kyren Williams' backup, and that's expected to be the case again in 2026. The 2024 third-round NFL draft pick played well in the role last season, averaging a healthy 5.1 yards per carry (seventh among RBs) and scoring six touchdowns on 145 carries. However, Corum played only 29% of the Rams' snaps and remained a nonfactor as a receiver (36 yards on 14 targets). The 25-year-old has no standalone fantasy value, but he's an elite insurance stash, as he'd launch into the fringe-RB1 mix in the Rams' high-powered offense should Williams miss time.
