Drafting Edelman in 2009

Belichick selected college QB Julian Edelman in the seventh round of the 2009 draft and converted him to receiver, a move that was a head-scratcher at the time but ended up paying off big after he ended up being New England's answer for losing Wes Welker in 2013. Edelman also developed into one of the best punt returners in the NFL.
