The 2027 NFL draft is still months away, but with the 2026 season underway, we're starting to track pick order in Round 1. Which teams are in position to add elite prospects in the top 10 next April? What about the top five ... or even at No. 1?

What follows is not the current draft order based on records. It is a projection of what ESPN's Football Power Index thinks the order ultimately will be by the end of the season.�Each week during the season, the FPI projects the draft order by simulating the remainder of the season 10,000 times. Game probabilities are based primarily on the model's team ratings and game locations. The draft order is determined by the records the model projects for each team after 17 games, as well as each team's average draft position across the simulations.

So where do things stand? Here are the full sortable projections, complete with each team's chances to pick in the top five, in the top 10 and at No. 1.

First-round picks that have been traded:

• The Green Bay Packers' selection was dealt to the Dallas Cowboys in the Micah Parsons trade.

• The Indianapolis Colts' selection was dealt to the New York Jets in the Sauce Gardner trade.

• The Los Angeles Rams' selection was dealt to the Cleveland Browns in the Myles Garrett trade.

• The better of Dallas' two selections (either its own pick or the Packers' original pick) was dealt to the Jets in the Quinnen Williams trade.
